Our comprehensive “Homegrown All Year” Gardening Course just launched. For a limited time, we are sharing Modules 1 & 2 from the course in our monthly membership library!

These 2 modules contain our entire homesteading and garden planning system. They walk you through how to plan your year and your garden step by step so that you can successfully grow AND preserve your food for year round eating.

But that’s not all! We also include our planning section from our Garden course book in a downloadable pdf booklet. This includes our step by step garden planning worksheets, our sample garden plans, and our crop spacing guides.

Here is a sneak peek of Module 2 in the membership library

How it all started

Before we were a farm, we had a big family and a big goal: we gave ourselves one year to be exclusively eating meat grown on our land.

As we were pursuing this goal, we began extensively researching farming methods – both the large scale production that leads to what we have available in our local stores and the smaller scale methods that are still managing to provide large quantities of food for their communities.

Our research led to two main conclusions: the first- that the current system of mass production and consumption of food is worse than we ever imagined. The second- it doesn’t have to be this way!

This journey led us to a much larger goal: to be a part of the solution by growing meat & produce {without all the crud} for our local community. After a few years of farming for the community, we began getting a ton of requests to teach classes on how to do what we were doing in a backyard setting.

We took a leap of faith and held a gardening & food preservation course on our farm. It sold out in a week and the rest is history!

We have now helped many families learn how to grow, raise, and eat ethically and organically raised, nutrient dense food in their own backyard… and we’re just getting started!

Our mission is to keep helping every person that comes our way wanting to learn- that’s where YOU come in 😉

We don’t hold back any secrets of the trade – it’s all yours for the taking! Join our membership, complete the lessons, and apply what you learn and I promise – you will be able to grow and preserve your own homegrown food too.
